Alpi Carniche Made Trek

PROGRAMME

1ST DAY: CASERA PROMOSIO - FABIANI REFUGE        

Meeting in Timau and transfer by shuttle bus to Casera Pramosio. Departure of the trek to the Pramosio Pass, then on to Austrian territory to reach the Bischof Alm and then the Zollner See Hutte and the lake of the same name. After a short ascent to the Pecol di Chiaula Pass, we descend to the Fabiani Hut for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: FABIANI REFUGE - MALGA RATTENDORF

From the Fabiani Refuge we climb up to the Malga Lodin and then to the ridge trail to the Weidegger hohe. We then descend to the Meledis pass to return to Austria towards Sella Cordin and, after a diversion to Cima Val di Lanza, we end with a long descent to the Rattendorf Alm for an overnight stay. This is the most demanding stage in terms of length.

DAY 3: RATTENDORF ALM - PRAMOLLO PASS

From the Rattendorf Alm, the trail climbs up to the Sella di Val Dolce saddle and then passes under the Creta di Aip to the Sella di Aip saddle. We descend into the Pramollo area to the Madrizze peak, from where we gain access to the small Pramollo lake and the trek ends.
