The Karnische Höhenweg or "Friedensweg" leads along the entire Karnische Kamm, which runs along the border between Austria and Italy.

Suggerimento

In addition to the conventional route, summit ascents can also be included. Especially recommended are the local mountain Oisternig and Starhand.

Indicazioni

The KHW in the direction of Thörl-Maglern leads through Italian territory back to Austria and on to the Feistritzer Alm. The Feistritzer Alm is one of the last stations of the Karnischer Höhenweg. From here, the route continues along the Achomitzer-, the Göriacher-Alm and the following forest road to Maglern, your destination at the end of the Karnischen Höhenweg.
