Monte Cocco and the Schönwipfel are two peaks that are less frequented in summer, but are very popular with ski tourers in winter. They are therefore particularly attractive for mountaineers in spring and autumn.
A gravel path leads to a marvellous view down to Lake Pressegger See. The rock got its name from its shape and climbing routes lead over it, but these are reserved for appropriately equipped people only. The mats of heather are striking in spring.
