Routebeschrijving

At the municipal office in Weißbriach, turn left before the Gössering bridge and walk along the Gösseringbach stream in a westerly direction. We reach path 229 and follow a gravel path into the forest and then branch off to the left. The path climbs steeply through dense forest. We cross a forest path again and again until we reach the Napalnalm with the Weißbriacher Hütte after approx. 2 hours. This is a self-catering hut run by the Hermagor section. There is a wonderful panoramic view from here. If we still feel like it, we climb up to Kumitsch in ½ hour and look down over the Gitschtal valley to Hermagor and the glistening Weißensee lake.

Way back:
On the way back, we turn right before reaching the forest and descend on path 12 to the Möselalm, 1179 metres. From there, take the gravel path or path no. 243 back to Weißbriach.
