The Karnische Höhenweg or "Friedensweg" leads along the entire Karnische Kamm, which runs along the border between Austria and Italy.

Predlog

In addition to the conventional route, summit ascents can also be included. Especially recommended: Hollbrucker Kreuz and the Hochgränten cemetery.

Usmeritve

The Leckfeldalm, starting point of the Karnischen Höhenweg, can be reached from Sillian in about 2.5 hours on foot, by car or by hut cab. The walking time to the Sillian Hut is about 1.5 hours. From the Sillian Hut you can reach the Obstansersee Hut in about 3.5 hours.

Alternative: Ascent from South Tyrol:

from Versciaco and Sesto mountain railroads up to 2,000 m - from there about 1.5 hours to the Sillianer Hut, to the Obstansersee Hut 4-5 hours.
