This varies depending on the season. However, you should always carry with you: functional clothing for hiking (long trousers are recommended), windbreaker, headgear, rain/protection clothing, hiking boots, trekking poles (if you are used to using them), food, enough drinks, a change of clothes, various personal items such as camera, mobile phone, hiking map, sun cream, sunglasses, first aid kit, etc.

Directions

The route begins in Tarvisio, precisely in Via Romana next to the Forestry-Carabinieri building, where a car park is available. The climb begins along Via delle Pinete and, before reaching the Cervi Park, we turn left onto a cart track. A little further on, turn right onto the path leading to the Monte Palla saddle, which features educational panels narrating the fascinating life of the lynx. Along the way, two viewpoints are encountered: the first looks eastwards, in the direction of Slovenia, while the second faces west, towards Val Canale. Following the signs, we return to the dirt road that leads back to the starting path, completing the route in about 1.30 hours.
