Among the main reasons why hikers enjoy climbing mountains are the magnificent views that await at the top. Now there is an even easier way to enjoy the landscape at the Gartnerkofel.
Accessible both on foot and via the Gartnerkofel chairlift, the brand new Gartnerkofel terrace is the ideal place to soak up the scenery as you let your eyes wander from the Jôf di Montasio in Italy and the iconic Mangàrt to the south all the way round to Austria’s highest mountain, the mighty Großglockner, to the north-west. The terrace is equipped with number of information boards and a Viscope displaying the name of the various summits on the horizon.
