03 Southern Alpine Trail, E19: Dolinzaalm - Naßfeld

A varied and culinary alpine hike awaits us on this stage, as Gailtal cheese is produced everywhere. We start the tour at the Dolinzaalm, reach the Eggeralm at lunchtime, just right for a snack and reach the tourist resort of Naßfeld in the evening.

Equipment

Sturdy hiking boots, possibly hiking poles

Every rucksack should include: Rain, cold and sun protection, first aid kit, mobile phone (Euro emergency number 112), plenty of fluids, hiking map of the region.

Directions

From the A2 Südautobahn motorway, take the HERMAGOR exit onto the Gailtalstraße 111 to Feistritz an der Gail and continue along the Vorderberger Landesstraße to Vorderberg.
