From car park no. 2 in Hermagor on the main road into Grabengasse, then turn left uphill onto Thurnsteig. At a cross and blocks of houses in the direction of Thurnhof and the Gothic pilgrimage church of Maria Thurn, approx. 20 min. Follow the signposts to Radnig through the village of Untermöschach with the Biedermeier Schloss Lerchenhof inn, which is well worth seeing. A little further on, a granary from 1641, which probably also served as a Protestant house of prayer. Head north to the edge of the forest, then take the short, steep descent to Gössering (signpost 210, Radnig). - You can also take the direct route along the Gössering through the Grabengasse, which is shorter but not as interesting - walking upstream in a westerly direction, we reach a power station. We then cross the stream on a wooden bridge heading NW and reach a meadow on the gravel path, which climbs more steeply. Keeping left, after crossing a small stream we reach the tarmac cycle path, which we follow to the village of Jadersdorf. (path 210). A signpost leads to the romantic Weißenbachklamm gorge, approx. 1 ¼ hours there and back, see tour no. 10, but we stay on the tarmac and turn right at the larger crossroads in the village towards St. Lorenzen, approx. ½ hour. Here we leave trail no. 210 and follow the signposts no. 39 to Weißbriach. A stop at the Stoffelbauer inn is a good idea. Soon afterwards we reach the village of Weißbriach, inns, blacksmith museum etc.
You can also take the bus to Weißbriach and walk in the opposite direction.
