KM3 Vorhegg - Ödenhütte

This mountain bike tour is a demanding and beautiful experience for everyone.

Suggestion
A stop at the Ödenhütte mountain restaurant is particularly rewarding.
Equipment
  • Helmet duty!!!!!!
  • Right clothing: Do not only adapt your clothing to the current weather conditions. Also pack warm clothing, a spare jersey and rain protection in summer, especially in the early and late seasons.
  • Emergency equipment: bandages, repair kit (spare hose, pump, tools), map, mobile phone and possibly GPS
  • ATTENTION: In the mountains reception is not guaranteed everywhere!
  • Take enough to drink with you and plan a stopover in good time

Approaching B111 or B110 to Kötschach-Mauthen.

Directions

KM 0 Approx. 100 m on the B110 heading south

KM 0.1 Turn right and follow the B111 into Lesachtal for about 400 metres

KM 0.5 Turn right and follow the asphalt road towards Vorhegg

KM 0.6 Keep left

KM 0.7 Keep left

KM 4.5 Vorhegg - turn sharp left onto a wide gravel road

KM 5.4 Keep rightK

M 5.8 straight ahead

KM 6.1 Keep right

KM 6.6 straight ahead

KM 6.8 Turn right, and after a few metres turn left into a narrow trail, which you follow to the Ödenhütte

KM 7.9 Ödenhütte - the asphalt road begins just below the Ödenhütte - follow it downhill

KM 9.3 straight ahead

KM 9.5 straight ahead

KM 9.7 straight ahead

KM 11.3 Continue straight ahead

KM 11.6 Turn right towards Aquarena

KM 11.8 Keep left and follow the road until you reach the B111

KM 12.3 Turn left and return to your starting point
