Accessibility in the World of Mountains & Lakes
Nobody wants to make compromises on their well-earned holiday – whether it’s during the booking process or during their stay in the World of Mountains & Lakes.
It’s important to us that everyone can explore the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region – regardless of their disabilities. We know that accessibility is a vital issue for about ten per cent of the population and is helpful for another 40 per cent – and nice to have for 100 per cent of us!

ÖZIV CERTIFIED RESTAURANTS
Snow fun for EVERYONE
Nassfeld, together with the Austrian "SEI DABEI" initiative, well-known athletes such as Franz Klammer, Thomas Morgenstern or Markus Salcher and the "ÖZIV-Kärnten", have been campaigning for barrier-free access to sports for many years. Inclusion in sport does not involve a ready-made concept of action, but means trying out together how more participation can be achieved. The project's vision is to enable children and young adults with and without the need for support to take part in sport all year round.
Special rental equipment and specially trained ski instructors
For winter sports enthusiasts with special needs, monoski and biskis of the "ÖZIV-Hilfsmittelzentrale Kärnten" are available from Sport Sölle at Nassfeld (lower terminus of the Millennium Express). The best place to learn how to use the equipment is at Sölle Ski School in Tröpolach. Ski instructors - who have been specially trained for this sports equipment - will support you throughout the winter.
