Our family business has existed for several generations in the sense of self-sufficiency and part-time work. With the aim to adapt to the given resources in the Gitschtal and to use their special features. Agriculture in its original sense. A cultural asset that we would like to preserve with our work.
THE KRAINER STONE SHEEP
An ancient breed threatened with extinction that has always been at home in the Alpine region. Without the claim of high performance and alienate itself from its kind, it offers three simple and wonderful talents: excellent meat quality, a handsome milk yield and its long-haired wool.

Our milk and meat products are available directly from our farm and at Café Steinwender in Weißbriach. Delivery by arrangement possible. Milk season between April and September, meat November to Easter.
