1. From Möderndorf through the 1st and 2nd section of the gorge to the shelter and then returning to Möderndorf via St. Urban (approx. 2.5 hours.). 2. Crossing all 4 sections of the gorge right through to the end (approx. 2.5 hours) a.) From the end of the gorge to the Kühweger Alm (approx. 1 hour) and then via the Kühweger Thörl to the Gartnerkofel (approx. 2.5 hours) or from the Kühweger Thörl to the Nassfeld (approx. 1 hour) b.) From the end of the gorge via Garnitzenklamm Gorge - Garnitzenhöhe – Garnitzenklamm Gorge - Watschiger Alm to the Nassfeld (approx. 3 - 4 hours).
Equipment
Rucksacks should be packed individually, - but absolutely necessary are:

- Sturdy hiking or mountain boots, rainwear, packed lunch/snacks, beverages, headwear, sun screen, warm jacket, change of clothes, hiking stick, First Aid kit!

Directions
Drive through Hermagor to the end of the town and then turn in direction Möderndorf, Egger Alm. From here, continue on the main road for approx. 2.5 km.

From the end of the gorge to the Kühweger Alm (approx. 1 hour) and further via the Kühweger Thörl to the Gartnerkofel (approx. 2.5 hours) or from the Kühweger Thörl to the Nassfeld (approx. 1 hour) ) b.) From the end of the gorge via the Garnitzenklamm - Garnitzenhöhe - Garnitzenklamm - Watschiger Alm to Nassfeld (approx. 3 - 4 hrs.) Condition The natural monument Garnitzenklamm is undoubtedly one of the most famous natural beauties of Carinthia. 2 km south of Hermagor (starting point Eggeralm-Landesstrasse) the Garnitzenbach has created a 6 km long gorge in the course of history, the lowest section of which has been opened up for hikers. The gorge is accessible on alpine paths over gorges, bridges and to waterfalls in about 2.5 hours to the end of the gorge. Some parts of the gorge require a head for heights.
